From Bracknell the drive to our office is one of the better ones: the A329 to Ascot, then the A332 north through Windsor Great Park and past the castle to the M4 at junction 6, and straight on to the Bath Road. Twelve miles, around half an hour, and parking when you get there.
What you get at the end of it is the same examination we run for everyone: questions agreed with you in the pre-test interview, a single issue examined in a private solid-walled room by an examiner trained to police standards in interviewing, the preliminary result before you leave and a written report with charts inside 24 hours. Half an hour each way is a small price against however long the question has already been running.
By car: the A329 to Ascot, then the A332 north through Windsor Great Park and Windsor to M4 junction 6 and the A355 to the A4 Bath Road, around 30 minutes. Parking is available onsite, with a limited number of spaces.
By train: there is no direct line, so most people drive. The rail route is Bracknell to Reading, then a fast service east to Slough and a short taxi ride to Bath Road; allow around an hour door to door.
Recommended office: 268 Bath Road, Slough, just off junction 6 of the M4. Exact directions are sent with your booking confirmation.
If you have been going round in circles for months, half an hour in the car is not the hard part. The test takes one disputed issue and answers it with evidence: recorded physiological charts, scored to American Polygraph Association standards and explained in a written report you can show to anyone you choose. Two hours at the office plus the drive, set against the time already lost.
On the same day, yes, though each is examined alone. The couples test, from £695, covers both partners on the same agreed issue, one after the other, with both results shared before you leave. One trip from Bracknell, one afternoon, and the matter is settled whichever way it falls.
Our office is at 268 Bath Road, Slough, around half an hour from Bracknell by way of Ascot and Windsor, with parking onsite. Appointments are shown with live availability, paid for online and confirmed the moment payment goes through, and the preparation notes in your confirmation email include exact directions.
